I like this, it does the job of holding my hair straight up all day without any allergic reaction to my scalp or head. However, its not cheap and there's not much in the jar. I previously used Alba Botanica Advanced Strong Hold Gel but they stopped making that. Then I tried Free & Clear Hair Styling Gel for Sensitive Skin but it left my hair feeling dry. I'm currently using a gel from FRAGFRE, I find its comparable to this but much less expensive.

When I first used this product, I was quite satisfied. However, I soon realized that it didn't hold my hair in place for very long. So, I now have to augment this product with hair spray for better results. I was trying to find something other than the hair spray that I could use. Oh well, back to the drawing board.

Glancing through the top reviews most people seem to want a mousse. This isn't it. I wear my hair fairly short and I find this product provides weight without attracting dust - ie I can use this stuff without having to wash my hair every day because of dirt attraction.
I was surprised at how much conditioning it provides. I use a small amount - I dip one finger in up to the first joint. There are hundreds of applications in the jar at that rate.
If I apply to dry hair it adds control without compressing my hair. When I use it wet it compresses my hair until the water dries and then I get a nice well controlled poof.
I especially like it is totally scentless.
